After one of the world’s largest dark web child porn marketplace, Bitbazzar Market, was taken down, more than 300 people were arrested.
The page had over 200,000 videos that were viewed over a million times collectively.
After a UK inquiry into a child sex offender revealed its presence, it was shut down last year.
Yet officials announced on Wednesday that 337 alleged users were detained in 38 countries.
Prosecutors said the site had provided videos of sexual acts involving children, babies and infants – and specifically asked users not to post pornography-only videos featuring adults.
It was taken down after three years of operation by a multinational task force that included departments from the United Kingdom, the United States, South Korea and Germany.
During an inquiry into England’s paedophile Matthew Falder, who was jailed for 25 years for sharing tips and videos of violence on the dark web, it was discovered.
